Dutch bucket for hydroponics

Our Dutch Bucket Drip Irrigation Hydroponic Systems offer endless expansion possibilities.

An efficient drip irrigation system that is suitable for larger, long-term crops such as vine tomatoes, peppers (capsicum), cucumbers , roses and other flowers. You can use just about any type of growing media, including expanded clay pellets, perlite (Our favorite), and coconut coir.

Dutch buckets are one of the most popular hydroponic containers on earth. Cut flower growers in Europe use them almost exclusively. They are affordable, reusable and can be easily connected together making a Dutch bucket system endlessly expandable.

(BATO) Dutch Buckets are designed to be fed by drip emitters and plumbed to drain using a common 1.5" PVC pipe, purchased locally.

Siphon Elbows regulate safety reservoir of nutrient solution at bottom of bucket to 1" deep. This feature prevents growing medium from drying out and causing water stress between irrigation cycles. Siphon pipe also prevents over accumulation of nutrient solution.

Ideal for tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, scallions, basil, other herbs and more!

Bato Buckets are suitable for drip irrigation systems. The overflow outlet can be connected into a central 1 1/2-in PVC drainpipe. The bucket has a highly effective internal discharge system. By installing the two elbows (included), the overflow water is suctioned from the lowest level of the bucket and discharged into the central drainpipe. This will eliminate the pooling of stagnant water. The Dutch Bucket measures 12-in x 10-in x 9-in (LxWxH). Dutch Buckets are made from food-grade polypropylene.

These simple, yet incredibly strong vine clips are used to support the weight of the plant as it grows larger and begins producing fruits or flowers. The back of the clip clamps securely to a piece of twine you hang from your ceiling or greenhouse rafters, while the clip itself then fits loosely around the stem of the plant.

    nutrient tube grommet

Nutrient tube grommets are used in the feed manifolds where the feeder tubes exit the manifold and on the other end of the feeder tube where it plugs into the NFT rail.

  • Used on all feed manifolds and rails to prevent leaks between the manifold and the feed tube. Made using a surgical-grade rubber, these grommets can withstand extreme growing environments for many years, without cracking or leaking.
